Medea

Text by Euripides

“Lying without food, she gives her body up to pain, and has been wearing down the nights and days with tears, since she found she had been wrong treated by her man.”                                                                                      - Chorus, Medea, Euripides.

Reflecting on the victims of Mexico’s spiring violence, Medea face this reality. She breaks the original greek text by Eurípides and collects all its pieces at the same time. This piece wants to create a space to give a voice to the stories and bodies that have been buried and erased, a space of memory and resurrection.
